South African Paralympic athletes have now bagged four medals at the Paralympic Games in Paris.

Doubles wheelchair tennis players, Lucas Sithole, and Donald Ramphadi won the bronze medal in the medal play-off at Roland Garros on Wednesday.

They beat the team from Brazil and thus won South Africa's first Paralympic medal in wheelchair tennis.

Earlier, paralympic cyclist, Pieter du Preez also won a bronze medal in the H-1 time trial.

He covered the 14.1 kilometer route in 36 minutes, 7.05 seconds.

Du Preez also won a gold medal in Tokyo.

The South African team now has one gold and three bronze medals.
