Gqeberha police are investigating two house robberies over the weekend.
Spokesperson, Captain Andre Beetge, says in the first incident in Driftsands Road, Humewood on Friday evening, the female homeowner was threatened at knife point by a man in her yard and taken into the house.
He says three more suspects also entered the house and searched for valuables.
They took one cellphone and a TV set before fleeing the scene.
Beetge says the woman was assaulted by one of the suspects by choking her during the robbery.
The second incident happened in the early hours of Saturday morning at a house in Mimosa Village, Fairview.
Captain Beetge says the male homeowner was woken up by four men who entered the house.
He says they were armed with knives and demanded valuables.
They took two laptop computers, three cellphones, a TV set, a PlayStation, and some clothing before fleeing.
Cases of house robbery are being investigated, and no arrests have yet been made.
