The Eastern Cape education department said it has advertised 300 posts of which 177 are for non-teaching positions.
Department spokesperson, Vuyiseka Mboxela, said in a statement on Friday that the adverts also include positions for what she said were important office-based positions.
She said departmental advert 5 invites individuals to apply for senior posts like chief directors, directors, as well as deputy director and assistant director positions.

Mboxela said these positions will play a critical role in driving efforts to improve education services, build stronger systems, and bring meaningful change to education districts in the Eastern Cape.
