Buffalo City woman killed in hit-and-run accident

Buffalo City police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a woman in her 40s was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Newlands Location early on Monday morning.

The Eastern Cape Transport Department says that a passerby noticed someone lying in the middle of the road and alerted the police.

Spokesperson Unathi Binqose says there was no sign of the vehicle involved.
