Biker killed in collision on N2 near Baywest

A 30-year-old woman was killed on Sunday following a collision between two bikes on the N2 near Baywest in Gqeberha.

Police identified the victim as 30-year-old Claudia Gerber.

Bester EMS responded to the collision, where Gerber was declared dead on arrival.

The private ambulance service says she sustained multiple severe injuries across her different organs, which ultimately led to her death.

Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
