Police in Gqeberha are seeking the next of kin of a man and a woman who were killed in a collision in Sherwood on Saturday night.

Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, said the deceased were riding a motorcycle that was involved in an accident with a car in Walker Driver at around 8 pm.

She said the driver of the vehicle, a white Nissan, was taken to hospital while there were no reports of any injuries to the passengers in the vehicle.

Janse Van Rensburg said a case of culpable homicide was opened and is under investigation.

Police are appealing to anyone who can assist in tracing the families of the deceased to contact SAPS Kabega Park at 082 442 1282 or Crime Stop at 08600 10111 or the nearest police station or send information via MYSAPSAPP.
