June is National Blood Donor Month

“Maintaining adequate blood stocks is an ongoing challenge for many countries. In South Africa, less than 1% of the population are active blood donors – and with each unit of blood lasting only 42 days after collection, it is important for blood donors to donate regularly and for blood services organisations to increase the donor pool.” For the full story follow:

Queenstown Donor Centre (26 Robinson Road)

ONLY open Mondays and Thursdays 10:00-18:00

Walker Drive Donor Centre (Walker Drive Shopping Centre, next to Bonamia, entrance opposite Clicks)

Mondays – Fridays 09:00-18:00

Saturdays 08:00-14:00

Sundays 09:00-13:00
