The Algoa FM Big Walk For Cancer presented by ISUZU MOTORS South Africa is a legacy event, in its 26th year and remains the biggest charity participation event in the Eastern Cape. This year, the event continues as a hybrid event with physical and virtual walks in support of those affected by Cancer.

Entry types:

• Individual (1 person)
• Group (2-20 people)
• Bulk (21+ people)

Entry fee: R70 per person

Upgrade your entry to Premium: R350 per person and let us treat you and your group like GOLD.

Event start locations:

• Gqeberha: Pollock Beach, Marine Drive, Summerstrand, Gqeberha, 8 am start.
• East London: Phillip Kahts Stadium, Gleneagles Lower Road, Bunkers Hill, East London, 8 am start.
• George: George Golf Club, 16 CJ Langenhoven Road, George Central, 8 am start.

But, of course, anyone from anywhere in South Africa or the world can join in on the fun. Walk, run or stroll with friends and family wherever you like on Saturday, 26 October at 8 am.

Share pictures of you and your family, friends and colleagues, on social media from entry to race day and we’ll paint the Internet "pink" in support of those affected by Cancer.

Walk with us. Unite with us. Fight with us. In support of our 2024 Beneficiaries, Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa (CHOC), St Francis Hospice and St Bernard's Hospice.

1. Enter as an Individual and collect your T-shirt and race number at registration before the event.
2. Enter with friends, neighbours and colleagues as a Group entry. Only one person needs to go down to fetch the race pack at pre-event registration.
3. Bulk up with a group of 21 or more. If you live in Nelson Mandela Bay, our pink ISUZU vehicle will bring the group’s race pack for free to your door.

There are three collection points in each area, you can select the one nearest to you on entry. Or select courier and your parcel will be sent straight to your door via our Courier Partner, The Courier Guy.

• Get your parcel couriered to a single point for just R100 anywhere in South Africa. That’s just five rand each in a group of 20.
• If you live in Nelson Mandela Bay, our pink ISUZU vehicle will bring the group’s race pack for free to your door.
• If you live outside of Nelson Mandela Bay, The Courier Guy will bring the pack to your door for a discounted fee of R195 anywhere in South Africa.

Collection of packs and Late Registration will take place at:

• Pollock Beach grass area, Gqeberha on Wednesday, 23 to Friday 25 October from 12.00 to 18.00
• Nutting Hall, Galway Road, Stirling, East London, on Thursday, 24 and Friday, 25 October from 12.00 to 18.00
• George Golf Club, 16 CJ Langenhoven Road, George Central, on Thursday, 24 and Friday, 25 October from 12.00 to 18.00
