Award-winning presenter Carly Fields started her career in broadcasting as a host on YOTV for nearly a decade. She hosted various shows, the most popular of which was Wildroom, which gave her the opportunity to travel overseas and interview A-list actors and film directors.

She also ventured into radio, winning a female DJ search on 5FM and trained with radio legend, Barney Simon. Carly then went on to do the traffic reports for a short time on DJ Sbu's drive-time show on YFM.

She took a bit of a break from radio and focused on obtaining her BA Audio visual communications degree from RAU (UJ) and went into TV production for several years while maintaining an on-air presence on various media channels.

As one of the original hosts on Gareth Cliff's podcast radio platform, Cliff Central, Carly co-hosted and co-produced two weekly shows, titled “Chicks Dig it” as well as “Rookies & Rockstars”.

Late in 2017, Carly relocated to Port Elizabeth, from where she continued to do magazine shoots and public appearances, voice-over work, hosting webinars, emceeing events, and product endorsement, all while keeping her followers on social media entertained. 

She's a proud mother to two teenage daughters and an avid runner, with over 30 marathons and ultra-marathons, including four Comrades Marathon races under her belt.
