Hogsback Open Gardens Spring Festival started today and will run until the 27th of October. The Garden opens from 9:30am daily.

Thursday is the Public Voice & Access to Energy decision-making in SA that will be hosted by Barry Morkel. Barry speaks about issues of state bias and environmental justice in the extractive industries with particular attention to case studies in the Karoo and Xolobeni. He’ll explore the lack of democracy and disregard of the poor and working class communities participation in decision making around energy issues and the links to environmental degradation. His talk starts at 3pm to 5pm at the Missionvale Foundation Phase Building.
