Friday the 3rd of May is International Space day

Every Wednesday until the 4th of December it will be Volunteer Day at the Garden Route Botanical Garden. Meeting time is 9am every Wednesday tomorrow included.

May 3rd

Nightlife in the Garden is back this Friday evening from 6pm to 8:30pm. It’s a night tour around the Garden Route Botanical Garden and everyone will be on the lookout for the Knysna dwarf chameleon, interesting insects, birds as well as 10 different species of frogs!

The Weekly Seminar at the ELRC is back this Friday from 8:30am at the Research Centre in Lucas Avenue, Makhanda.

May 4th 

Call Kay is in Kirkwood this Saturday for a free talk on Gardening. Her talk starts at 10am and finishes at 1pm at the Annerkant Nursery.

May 5th 

Bushwalk for Blueprint Animal Rescue is this Sunday from 7:30am to 9am at Cnr New Seaview and Heron Road. ENTRY FEE: is dogfood, cat food, blankets, bowls, collars or even leads.

Soars’ Plastic Water and Animals Panel Discussion in collaboration with Makana Plastic Action Group will be holding a panel discussion at 3pm on plastic, water and animals. The event to be held at 31 New Street is free for both members and non-members, SPCA donations will be appreciated.

Hilltop Family Funday is this Saturday at Mels’ Fun Farm. Support this great cause that will have delicious food, drinks and incredible hand made items on sale.  Face painting and fun farm enjoyment for the kids. Adults are free and it’s R50 per child with a bucket of feed for the animals. The Fun starts at 9am and finishes at 12pm. Help Hilltop Animal Outreach to pay off their massive vet bill.
