A 67-year-old wealthy farmer from George will appear in the George Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.

He is facing a string of charges including human trafficking, sexual exploitation and child pornography

The man was arrested on his farm in Geelhoutboom in June.

According to police, the farmer and a 37-year-old man worked together to sexually exploit at least 10 minor girls in exchange for money.

The 37-year-old suspect is also accused of raping a 15-year-old girl from Blanco near George.

The Southern Cape police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie says the victims claim that the farmer promised to help them financially. Both suspects deny the allegations against them.

Pojie says George police confiscated at least ten cell phones belonging to the farmer.

Both accused are out on bail.
