Woman nabbed in PE with stolen cell tower batteries

A 37-year-old woman is expected to appear in the Motherwell Magistrates Court on Tuesday following her arrest for being in possession of stolen cell tower batteries.

Spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge says the woman was travelling on a bus from Port Elizabeth and was reportedly on her way to Zimbabwe.

The Bus was stopped by police on the Blue Water Bay bridge where it was subsequently searched.
