Teenager wanted for string of violent crimes in PE

Police in Port Elizabeth are looking for a teenager who is wanted for several murders, hijackings and business robberies within the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro.

Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says the 19-year-old Siyabonga Dlanga allegedy committed these crimes in New Brighton, Kwazekhele, Algoa Park and Bethelsdorp.

She says in January last year he was formally charged with murder after he allegedly shot and killed the 50-year-old Gerald Stuurman at his house in Bethelsdorp.

Dlanga, who was 17 at the time,  allegedly entered Stuurman's house in Homeria Crescent on the 21st of October 2017 where he was fatally shot.

Police in Port Elizabeth are urgently seeking the community's assistance in tracing Dlanga.

A warrant of arrest is issued and anyone who may have information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Warrant Officer John Lourens on 071 352 4706
