Pharmacy robbed in PE's Cape Road

Police in Port Elizabeth are looking for four men who robbed a pharmacy in Cape Road on Tuesday night.

Spokesperson Warrant Officer Alwin Labans says staff were held up just before 10 pm by four men wearing balaclavas.

He says one man had a gun and demanded cash.

Labans says the suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, the complainants wallet and cellphone.

Members of the flying squad followed up on information which led them to New Brighton where they spotted four suspects.

The men dropped a bag and fled in different directions.

Police recovered several cellphones and some other goods.

No arrests have been made.
