Detectives in Zwelitsha have made a breakthrough in their investigation into the kidnapping of a 38-year-old man from Kuwait Location outside King Williams Town.
Spokesperson Captain Siphokazi Mawisa says police arrested two men aged 26 and 36 who allegedly kidnapped the victim on the 30th of August.
She says police followed up on further information which led them to the discovery of a man's body in the bushes at Mdingi location on Monday.
Mawisa says detectives were assisted by the East London search and rescue team who recovered the body.
DNA tests will now be done to establish the true identity of the body as the face could no longer be identified.
One suspect is still at large and the investigation continues.
The two arrested men will appear in the Zwelitsha Magistrates Court soon where they will be charged with murder and kidnapping.
Police did not elaborate on the possible motive of the crime.
