Jeff talks science and maths with trail blazing nuclear physicist Gaopalelwe Santswere

With a passionate belief that science does not have to be boring or daunting, GP, as he likes to be called, is indeed to be commended for his innovative approach to the intimidating subjects of both science and physics. He believes that the way of teaching maths and science has to change, and for this to happen we need to 'train the trainer'. Take  a listen to his inspiring chat to Jeff.

Santswere is a nuclear physicist at the South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (Necsa). Santswere, who holds a masters degree, has been working in the nuclear industry since 2006. He started work at the department of minerals and energy, now the Department of Energy. He then joined Eskom before he joined Necsa. He is also the President of the newly fomred SA Young Nuclear Professionals Organisation.
