It may only be September but Oscar talk is already being featured on plenty of entertainment news sites.  One much talked about entry in the Award event comes from the United Kingdom.

For the 91st Academy Awards, the Uk’s official submission is the haunting and disturbing tale of African womanhood "I Am Not a Witch," the feature directorial debut of the Zambian-born filmmaker Rungano Nyoni, who moved to Cardiff with her family as a girl. Maggie Mulubwa plays the leading role and is pictured above in a scene from the movie.

There is no word yet on South Africa’s entry, we will keep you posted. We can tell you that Black Panther has been entered by Disney in numerous categories included that of Best Picture.
