The bun fight between the Democratic Alliance and the ANC over an election slogan continued on Friday.
The DA said it would be issuing a “cease and desist” notice to the governing party for apparently “appropriating” its election slogan, “One South Africa for All”.
The fight between the two erupted on Twitter this week and now the DA’s national spokesperson, Solly Malatsi, said he would send a letter to the ANC insisting that it to stop using the slogan.
He said the ANC’s claim that it could not have stolen the slogan because the DA had not yet launched its election campaign was a lie.
“We launched our election campaign on 22 September 2018. The DA will also be demanding an apology from the ANC for stealing the slogan,” Malatsi said.
