Algoa Cares is Algoa FM’s official Corporate Social Investment initiative. It was started in 1997 as an on air feature with the aim of supporting local non-profit organisations with their mission to assist and empower those in need, especially the most vulnerable within our community. We use the power of radio and digital to increase awareness, influence positive change and inspire development within our broadcast footprint.
Algoa Cares has three focus areas namely: Health & Welfare; Education & Skills Development; and the Environment & Sustainability. The initiative’s focus is to highlight star projects that model sustainability.
