Maranatha Streetworkers Trust oversees various projects in support of the underprivileged. We provide residential services for both children and adults in Port Elizabeth and have a community outreach project in the rural area of Nieu-Bethesda.
Our primary project: Siyakatala at Maranatha is a Child and Youth Care Centre for 34 boys and girls in residential care from 3 to 21. We focus on therapeutic, developmental, recreational and caring services.
We have established a branch in Maranatha Nieu-Bethesda (Pienaarsig Township) where we are implementing programmes under the Maranatha umbrella, to support the community of 1500 people in terms of upliftment and family preservation.
Maranatha Adult Care is a centre for 35 destitute adults we accommodate on our premises and involve in developmental programmes. The adults provide services and develop work skills in return for their accommodation and meals.

“Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society's punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.” Martin Luther King Jr.
