Song Vir Nonna

Regard Grobler and Kaycee catch up ahead of the Garden Route Algoa Cares Charity Golf Day:

Founded by Regard Grobler, Song Vir Nonna's goal is to support the orphans and children with special needs in George by teaching them how to express feelings in melodically powered words with the assistance of songwriting volunteers. Our dream is to see youngsters flourish as they overcoming their emotional trauma through this exciting approach.

We are blessed to be the beneficiaries of this year's highly anticipated Garden Route Algoa FM Charity Golf Day on Thursday, 14 August. Please support this fun, networking opportunity to make a difference to our NPO. This high profile event offers a unique way to support those in need while enjoying a memorable day on the greens. Find out how you can take part by clicking on the link below.

Funds raised at the golf day will go towards purchasing recording equipment to capture the songs penned by youngsters aged eight to 18, as well as a public address system for the concerts presented by the students.

Song vir Nonna runs weekly songwriting workshops at Môreson ACVV Child and Youth Care Centre and the Carpe Diem school for special needs.

We plan on expanding the programme to other Garden Route schools.
