Rock and Roll was born in the 1950's, since then there are been many different types of rock music, and with each new genre new fashions emerges... so basically anything goes!


1950s: Original Rock 'n Roll

Rock artisit during this ear were lvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis. Girls wore blouses teamed with wide belts and wide-hemmed skirts, and boys started wearing pink shirts and gray or black trousers and grew their sideburns to look like Elvis.

1960s: The British Invasion

In the 1960s, the rock 'n roll trend that had been growing in the United Kingdom for a decade traveled over the pond with new bands like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. The Beatles wore tailored suits and bowl haircuts, while the Rolling Stones opted for a casual and rebellious look.
