Someone mentioned a lack of vehicles and staff. Nonsense! There are two families in Sherwood using police vehicles to drive between work and home every day. They are also used to take the kids to school. This has been going on for a few years. On another occasion I came home late from a friend and to my amazement saw a police van hidden behind Le Bon bakery in Central. The policemen were having a nice and apprently very friendly chat with someone at on of the many clubs there. On yet another occasion I saw policemen DOING WHEELIES in a police van at Kings Beach!!! They were with friends who had obviously had too much to drink. This means that these vehicles cannot be avialable for their intended use if they are used for these purposes. Nor are the policemen available. When they broke into my house a few years ago it took the police a full day to come to my house. All of this is just general corruption. No excuse.
