About Briony Sparg
Briony Sparg “I have made some amazing friends, just from listeners calling in and getting to know them and connecting with them”, says the Sweetheart of Algoa FM.

Briony’s cheerful but sincere tone connects her to her listeners both on and off the air. She describes radio as being her lifelong dream and being called to be a presenter on Algoa FM as a dream come true. “Through radio, I have been able to use my position to bring joy to other people”.

Compassionate, motivated, friendly, and caring are among the few words to describe her, but her deeds speak a lot louder than mere words.

Briony provides the perfect Saturday soundtrack and commentary on what listeners are up to and what is happening on the sports fields across the country. Whether you are getting ready to hit the town later or a relaxed Saturday at home, Briony is the perfect companion. At the same time she entertains them with the SA Reflective Radio Chart on her Sunday show which counts down the 30 biggest songs currently charting on radio stations across the country.

I love these 3 little ideas that work well. The first is something I havw always wanted to do. Plant flowers or a cactus inside an old wellington  boot. Kids grow so quickly, and you can just use the boots that have been outgrown. Make some holes in the bottom of the ... read more
