Things aren't looking too great for terminally ill British reality TV star Jade Goody, sadly.
After complaining of an "awful pain" in her stomach, Goody landed back in the hospital on Sunday for yet another operation.
Jade's publicist explained the operation as a ongoing process rather than a regression in Goody's battle with cancer.
“She has a great deal of pain from her tummy and they don’t seem to be able to get it under control… [The surgery] is just to get her out of this awful pain that she is in…It’s a continuing process but we hope they will be able to get things under control."
We hope so too!!
Jade is said to be "very frightened" and would like to return home as soon as possible.
So sad.
Our thoughts are with you, Jade!
The father of one of the breakout stars from Slumdog Millionaire is attempting to squeeze more money out of Slumdog director Danny Boyle!
Azharuddin Ismail, who played Salim in the Oscar winning pic was initially paid $1,000 dollars during the filming of Slumdog and $25,000 dollars have supposedly been placed in a trust that Ismail will have access to once he turns 18.
Boyle also supplies the 10 year old boy with a $30 dollar a week allowance and has promised to purchase his family a new home out of the slums for $30,000 dollars!
That's not nearly enough for Ismail's father, Mohammed!!
Are you kidding???
The money-grubbing father is demanding the money ASAP, telling reporters, "My son has taken on the world and wom. I am so proud of him but I want more money. I want the money now, it is of no use later. Mr. Boyle should take care of my son."
Mohammed was photographed beating his son last week after Ismail begged to rest his jet-lagged body upon returning from the Oscar ceremonies in Los Angeles!
Awful!
Slumdog producers are adamant on insisting the amount of money in the trust has not been revealed, but regardless, the money in a trust for good reason!
Keep the $$$$$ far away from this man!!!
As previously announced, Siegfried & Roy took the Saturday night for a brief performance and their final bow ever!
The former lovers shared the stage as a part of a benefit for the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The center is aimed to treat brain disorders, including disorders similar to the one which Roy Horn now suffers from as a result of injuries the illusionist sustained due to the 2003 on-stage tiger attack.
The tiger who was responsible for Roy's severe injuries appeared as part of the duo's final illusion this weekend.
The two slowly performed a signature illusion as [Siegfried], dressed in white robes and a mask, stood inide a cage, which was then cloaked in drapes. As [Roy] removed the curtain seconds later, [Siegfried] appeared across stage, a hulking tiger in his place.
How brave!!!
If that isn't considered taking life by the balls, we don't know what is!
Siegfried and Roy's final performance will be broadcast this Friday on 20/20 as a part of Siegfried & Roy: The Magic Returns.
