It is with great sadness and shock that we have to announce the sad passing of our lunch time presenter Viv Bozack.
Viv will be missed by the whole Algoa FM family and all our listeners.
He was much more to all of us than a D.J.
In the six and half years since joining Algoa FM in April 2007 he made his mark as a presenter, as a colleague and as a friend. He was a true son of Algoa FM.

Much loved Port Elizabeth icon, Vuyisa Ngomane (36), Viv Bozack, died at approximately 5pm on Tuesday 22 October 2013. The Ngomane family are beyond grief at the loss of Viv, who passed away three days after suffering a massive, sudden haemorrhagic stroke on Sunday.

It is with shock and sadness that the family of Vuyisa Ngomane (36), fondly known as Viv Bozack, confirm that he suffered a sudden haemorrhagic stroke during the late morning of Sunday 20 October 2013.
He was alone at the time and was immediately taken to hospital when his family arrived home from church to find him collapsed on the floor.

The CHOC Lodge is now open to the mothers of cancer patients who are admitted into the Oncology wards at Dora Nginza Hospital. CHOC was the beneficiary to both the 2012 Discovery Algoa FM Big Walk and the 2012 Urban Run and used these funds to get the project off the ground.
