Former South African heavyweight boxer, Corrie Sanders died in hospital, after he was wounded during an armed robbery at a restaurant in Brits, North West on Saturday evening.

He was wounded in the stomach, and taken to Kalafong hospital near Pretoria, where he reportedly died on Sunday morning. He was 46.
